I am a happy girl today, another 3 pound loss is really good considering its star week! I’m not expecting to lose 3 pound every week though but I’m going to aim for 2 pound next week. 

There are 22 weeks left until Christmas so that’s 22 weeks to lose 21 pounds, definitely doable!! 🙂

This weeks weigh in …

I’m really proud of myself this week,  I feel like it’s the first time this year that I’ve been able to get through the whole week on plan without letting anything tempt me. It was pancake day on Tuesday and I didn’t even have one, go me!!!

Last week I set myself a target of getting to 10st3 in 6 weeks. I’m now about to start week 2 and i’m 2 pounds down, so now I’ve got 5 weeks and 6 pounds to lose, that’s still possible in my opinion so I just need to have 5 more weeks like last week, I really hope I can do it!!

Well what started out as a week with good intentions ended up with me eating a lot more than I should.  I had Thorntons chocolates in work, cake in work, cheesecake at home and then a night out last night.  To be fair though, one of the girls in work was retiring so it’s not like it could be helped, but I really need to get back on track now.

I’ve been doing really bad weight loss wise since Christmas, having more weeks off plan than on, I’ve not really lost anything since and I really need to make more of an effort to change that!
Luckily I don’t have anymore nights out or birthdays or celebrations etc until April 13th (mine and my boyfriends 1st anniversary) which is exactly 6 weeks tomorrow, so for the next 6 weeks I will be completely and utterly on track no matter what. I’ve got 8 pounds left to lose until I reach my target of 10st3 and so if I’m extra good it’s not unrealistic goal to try to reach!

Wish me luck, I think I’m going to need it!!

Well, after the past few weeks of being off plan I really was dreading getting on the scales today.  Last time I weighed myself was the 1st February and I weighed 10 st 11 and since then I’ve pretty much eaten everything in sight, and probably my body weight in chocolate haha!  I’ve only been on plan for 5 days so when I weighed myself this morning I thought I’d be at least 10 st 11, if not more! Can you imagine how happy I was when I was 10 st 10, I’ve only got 1 pound to lose and i’m back to what I was before I started eating bad. I am so happy right now and I can’t wait for next week’s weigh in haha!

I must admit, I was a bit worried today when I weighed myself after having a Chinese on Thursday.  I stayed in my syns but I was still worried.  I was also hoping for a bigger loss this week as up until Thursday I’d been really good. I lost another pound but I was secretly hoping for 2.  1 pound is still a loss though so I’m happy about that!

As I’m getting closer to my first goal of 10 st 7 I’m finding that I’m not looking forward to getting on those scales of a Saturday morning.  I think this is because I keep expecting my weight loss to grind to a halt before I reach my first target. I think this is because in the years I’ve been trying to lose weight I’ve never managed to get this far and I still don’t think it’s sunk in that i’m doing it.  This week a lost 1 pound and while it’s nothing to write home about it’s still 1 pound, which is better than maintaining, or worse still gaining, so I’m taking this as a plus and I’m looking forward to reaching my 10 st 7 goal.
